Wow. I didn’t expect it to be this intense. I’m so overwhelmed and excited at the same time it’s crazy. God has already blessed me with little things that make me feel somewhat at home, though. For instance, one of my roommates, Joanna, is already like an older sister to me. There’s this guy named Steve who brought like 20 canisters of tea (all different flavours) and he makes us all individual tea bags for whatever mood we’re in. Bless his heart. I now know that I will be sent to either Mongolia, Portugal, or Thailand for the 8 months of assignment. I don’t really feel particularly called to any of those places, so I might just tell leadership to pick one for me. We also read the gospel of Mark together as a group out loud in one sitting tonight (there’s about 20 of us).
